About the Editor
Penelope Rowlands was raised in London and New York and has lived intermittently in Paris. A journalist and critic, she has contributed to The American Scholar, Vogue, the Wall Street Journal, The Daily Beast, Architectural Digest, Art + Auction, and The New York Times, among other publications.
Her last book, A Dash of Daring: Carmel Snow and her Life in Fashion, Art, and Letters, a biography of the legendary editor-in-chief of Harper’s Bazaar, was released by Atria Books, a division of Simon & Schuster, in the US in 2005, and in the United Kingdom the following year.
Penelope is currently working on another biography.
